I think JBJ should contest in Ang Mo Kio GRC,... That will do many good things for him.
1)It will signal that his interest is in changing the system, starting with a bold move to remove the current prime minister
2)He has a higher chance of getting votes in Ang Mo Kio GRC, where the middle to lower income voters live, compared to the the wealthier voters in Tanjong Pagar GRC, who would be more opposed to change
3)He would show Singapore that perhaps the time has come to start a new system, by not merely contesting an SMC or going up against any other MP, which is something that is not viewed as challenging
4)Seeing how it does not look likely that the PAP will lose 50% of the votes, the sudden removal of the Prime Minister can be just the catalyst he needs to spark the change he wants, making singaporeans realise that they can vote for the opposition and they are not alone, EVEN when it matters.

In all due respect for JBJ, he is a spent force. Both he and LKY would probably not be in person for 2011 elections. I would rather he rejoin WP and mentor young WP members.

Positioning a party between WP and SDP could be Reform Party's intention and also one advocated by NSP's Goh Meng Seng (ex-WP) in a forum posting. However, if you focused and looked, there is really no space between WP and SDP, but a thin line. It is either you cross the line or you don't, i.e. you break the law or you don't. To occupy such imaginary "spaces" is extremely uphill, especially when one wants to convince Singaporeans who tend to see things in black or white.
