The security, the multi-raciality, the efficiency of the police (well sometimes they are not, but I'll gloss over their inefficiencies as compared to other Asian nations') and the cleanliness of the streets (in general). Societies and cultures matter, not political lines drawn on a map. I love Singapore because I have a cultural attachment to this country. It is sort of inexplicable.
