I am not afriad of the officers doing their jobs, I am afriad of the people giving the orders to exercise these powers. There is something not right here. Everybody use terrorism as a front for everything nowadays, just like Bush used the excuse of WMD on Iraq. I read the following TODAY article with interests:

“Laws were also put in place to deal with the terrorist threat, including additional scenarios under which a security officer could defend his criminal act committed in the line of duty.”

So, our officers are now authorised to commit crimes in the name of national security which could be anything under the sun.

I am not afriad of the officers doing their jobs, I am afriad of the people giving the orders to exercise these powers. There is something not right here. Everybody use terrorism as a front for everything nowadays, just like Bush used the excuse of WMD on Iraq.
