Those PAP MPs are already treating MP job as part-time despite getting SGD 14,000 a month as MP while concentrating on their own full time jobs to gather job experience. It is clear these PAP MPs will want to use this private sector job experience when they quit MP jobs in future which was why they prefer to do MP part time. If elected MPs can continue working in other jobs, why not non-elected people who still need to gain income and feed family ?? Why did not the Media compare and contrast thoroughly ?? I do not see anything wrong with non-elected people getting jobs elsewhere because they have no business to be in Singapore for now.
