		<description>I made a similar blog posting on this BBC poll and came to certain conclusions. They include:

1. With only more than one third believing that the media is free, there is room for alternative and independent media, especially online-based.

2. The concept of public vs private media is largely misunderstood in Singapore since all the media in Singapore is privately owned though heavily controlled by the government.

3. Other inferences and opportunities for the different types of media Singaporeans might be drawn towards.
