The writer does not understand the spelling evolution in Indonesian grammar and vocabulary. Indonesia was used to be Dutch colony and its langauage more or less influenced by Dutch spelling, so Tjio (= chiow NOT Teo) and Tjhan (NOT Chans) are correct. Please take note that in Dutch &quot;tj = c&quot;. Do not ever equalize Dutch with English, they are different creature.
