It is neither a footage nor a film; just documentation of a local historical event. Martyn has done a good job in recording some real life happenings in our land, our history. I do not see any link between him and the opposition politicians. He highlights the social aspects of political activities, the everyday livings of fellow Singaporeans and show them to us. To let us know ourselves, our country and our history better.

Kudos to Martyn and here is my salute!

STRICTLY FOR GLEECHOO ONLY.
Here goes:3 tube toufu,cut into 2cm.,150 fresh fish paste,35 gm green pea(boil for 10 min.), 3 shallet,1 red chilli,1 teaspoon cooking oil(please do not use engine oil) 4 stalk spribg onion.100ml. water.4 teaspoon cornflour….put all the items into wok start to fried it for 20 min. (do you have a watch or clock)if not just count to 100..
Remember you are not suppose to breath wile performing all the above……. GOT it gleechoo???? if still doubtful kindly let me know…..most willing to guild …thank you good night

Ladies & Gentlemen of TOC! I’ve always wondered about the Speakers’ Corner…how about organising one to test the reality? Take a box to stand on and…on issues and no personal attacks…no protests either…like those one sees at Hyde Park in London…and some other countries.

The section of clip I didn’t appreciate was someone put those uniformed officers on duty on the spot…they were doing their job. I was proud of the officers who kept mum. Keep up the good work!

Gleechoo, i ‘m an ordinary man, just like the one you saw on the street,no tie or smart pant, i socialize n hangout on coffee shop speak loud hokkien(often wit vargulity)most of my friends are like-minded…….or you can call me ah kow, ah seng…etc…..
I did show them on the youtube,Imediately, they got sit up and shock for a moment..Know why????? well … your guess….. thank you for reading …

If you are looking for entertainment then you are in the wrong place. Somehow you fail to see the difficulty in exercising your rights to speak or be heard in Singapore. This documentary is about an individual speaking out for the rest of Singaporeans who are too afraid. It’s not about good film making.

Wow! Is this what some Singaporeans can produce as film producers? Is this a joke?

Is this a footage or a film?

If a film, this certainly is bad taste…a good film needs to arrest the viewer’s attention within the first 10 seconds or 60 seconds at best! What was the purpose in screening this?

For a footage…is this an unedited amateur version?! Please don’t mock the viewers.

Who is the star of the show? A clown? A fool? What was he trying to convey?

Censorship brings out the Kaypoh in me…

Just read TOC’s interview of Martyn See; it will be interesting to see if Speakers Cornered will be given the green light for public viewing. Rather ironically, if it is given the red light, then I will definitely watch it……

I feel the best strategy is to:

“LET THE SLEEPING DOG LIE”

and

“LET THE EMPEROR CONTINUES WEARING HIS INVISIBLE GOWN.”

Keep praising them and urge them on with their nonsense, and by so doing give them a lot of ropes to hang themselves come GE2011.

That is how the battle ground should be prepared from now on.

This only goes to show the ugly face of PAP politics, obviously cornered with the possibility of facing a tsunami in the next election.

I actually hoped that PAP will continue with its arrogant ways so that come election time, we have a reason to get even with them.

Mr Martyn,

I watch the film in youtube. I like to highlight the film as the best possible documentary ever with regard to politics next to the REBEL film. We are fortunate to have director like Martyn who is fearless and creative in getting his work done. He is better than Comedian Jack Neo whom i refuse to watch his films in the big screen becoz why pay for his crap?
