Boring propaganda

The boring thing about NDP is that the story is the same. It’s the same old fairy tale of how Singapore climbed from third world to first by overcoming tons of obstacles and adversities under the capable leadership (of the PAP). It gets really boring to hear the same old propaganda every year.

    well, I think it is a platform for scholar officers to get promoted – it’s like if you want to make it to BG, chairing the NDP is a must do tour of duty to earn your stripes. The current exco always try to outdo the predecessors. – so I guess the expenditure also goes up every year!

    the problem with some alternative media people is that they can only criticise, without offering any alternative suggestions. why not come up with some concrete and more constructive ideas so authorities can work on them?

    Well it IS National Day, a day where we’re supposed to take pride in being Singaporean, and also a day where we look back at our achievements of our nation. I think we should also take into account that last year’s major theme was on “A city of possibilities”, which was pretty forward looking.
