		<description>Well it IS National Day, a day where we&#039;re supposed to take pride in being Singaporean, and also a day where we look back at our achievements of our nation. I think we should also take into account that last year&#039;s major theme was on &quot;A city of possibilities&quot;, which was pretty forward looking.</description>

		<description>well, I think it is a platform for scholar officers to get promoted - it&#039;s like if you want to make it to BG, chairing the NDP is a must do tour of duty to earn your stripes. The current exco always try to outdo the predecessors. - so I guess the expenditure also goes up every year!</description>
