Dearest Singaporean! Your were created to be a unique, talented, gifted people. Be wise and sound mind on earth like everbody else in the world. Singaporean you are trully a Lion City warriors standup and start to roar like a lion. Have no more fear come out of the cage, is about time. Love your country Singapore wherever you are. We belongs to us, for us, with us and in us. Our forefather birth rights from every tongues and tribes through sweats and zeal, Who gave birth to sons and daughters into this beautiful land.

I am so totally disgusted and disagreed with this so call (politiconruptions)(Dynasty, Dynasly or DynasLee). What is PAP stand for, (Punishment And Prosecuting) this is how their party stand for.

We should embraced all kind of races into our country. Peoples are always a creative human being because we are all have equal Rights, Statues, Liberty, and Fulfilments Democratic country. No Governments and the citizens has the
right to take unlawful authourity in theirs own laws unjustly, this kind is rule by fear and evil. where is the Justis, Righteouness and Truth? The devil came to steal, to lie, to rob, to contol and to kill our spirit does this sound familia to you.

Dictatorship will collapse and whoever rule in darkness will never see the truth unless they repent or they will in the end suffers no matter how crafty they are.

What did the Singapore Anthem says: Mari kita bersama sama bertujuh. Are the majority of the peoples really happy or are we kiddy ourself. Is this what the Government belief for the last 45 years? Take off the Anthem CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE....the whole system now, now is the time folks.

Let's sing...WE the Lion City the citizens of Singaore Roar, will have no fear for evil. Our lives shall strenghten with courage and zeal.

Don't worry follows! There is a way to offset all losses in those carefully crafted investments (Merrill Lynch, UBS...). Each time a newspaper will publish a story like "Sing investment get sour", the Gament will sue for defamation and our independent Judiciary will fined for "insinuation". The so-called "Western liberal press" will pay for our retirement.! What a chance to be ruled by the "best and the brightest"!

"liying" is for the opposition, an "inaccuracy in statement" is reserved to the one in power. There is no truth in such world. Only the one in power has the authority to decide what is the truth. Therefore as all alternative opinions are "lie" they deserve to be destroyed ( "rebutted" as it said in Singapore). It is why such system is called an authoritarian system.

By the way, they don't call it 'lying', they call it 'inaccuracy in statement'. How lovely.

Singapore will still steam ahead without PAP. There are ample talented Singaporeans who do not agree with what PAP is doing. It's a matter of principle and not a matter of lack of talents as what LKY wants Singaporeans to believe.

The tumours must be decisively removed in order to rid the body of cancer before becoming terminal.

LKY' s ideology is a mixture of the most British reactionary ideas from 19th Century (Social darwinism, racialism, elitism), the rule by fear of the Japanese Imperial Army during WW2 and the manipulative technics of Stalinism. He belongs to the far right.

RH: Dear brilliant Paul, you have illuminated this Comment section with your insightful and incisive quotes of Goebbels, New Paper, etc. Thanks a million for your erudition.

1. Obviously, LIE KY is just another common criminal dictator, mouthing age-old dictatorisms from Hitler, Goebbels, etc, and trying, like them, to create a Thousand-Year-Reich, or Dynasty. I have written on this in :

Harrison, agreed with you. Please don't get me wrong though, I am not saying they should take the sole claim for credit in making SIngapore where she is today.

However, I maintain my stand that the govt plays a significant role.

TImes might have changed, but the knowledge that is accumulated over the years will be helpful, in bringing the country to the next level. Of course, we should not focus only on our pedigree, but really, take what's been said into consideration and make a logical, rational decision on how to move forward.

Best.

To The Owl - Well said!!

It is really hillarious that our beloved Minister Mentor can't even decide who is for him and who is against him. He should really make up his mind about IBA before saying anything more. I think the web of logic is so convoluted that I am sure even the PAP die hards will find it difficult to follow let alone understand.

Somebody said that "First thing you do to get out of a hole is to stop digging." How true!

Dear MM,
There is no conspiracy to do Singapore in. You are feeling very guilty about many things that point to you and your paranoia is so evident. Being a scare mongerer can back fire if you overdo this trick. You can end up being scared of those around you and may end up being scared of your own shadow.

Go ahead and celebrate this national day without me and other citizens. I view it as Singapore Inc. function. Like other citizens , I will wear BLACK and use the day to reflect on how we can make this our country. I wish to let the opposition know that I am with them and their sacrifice is worth the while. It is also a message to concerned foreigners that there are citizens in Singapore worth helping. I wish to thank IBAHRI for being objective with their assessment on Singapore's judiciary, although I feel IBAHRI were somewhat accomodating.

May I suggest to IBAHRI that they organise a live telecast on the major television networks for you to engage them. Nelson Mandela, Chia Thye Poh, Francis Seow, Tang LH, JBJ, and CSJ will be the other invited guests. And by the way, IBAHRI should graciously allow you to have Davinder and Belinda tag along.

We should wear black... shirt! Or may be a brown shirt!

In Span there was a Caudillo, in Italy a "Duce", in Germany a Fuhrer, in Romania a "Condutor".... As those titles were already taken, we have a "Mentor".

Why LKY is against what he calls a "liberal democracy"? Because one of the decisive rules of a "liberal democracy" is the freedom of press. Why LKY doesn't support a free press? Because a free press might check his words and prove he is a liar...

A "non liberal democracy" concept is a self serving. We could include his fat monthly checks as a Mentor and Chairman of GIS as well as the fortune of his whole family. By the way the "honest" and "clean" LKY has never disclosed his personal wealth.... In a "liberal democracy" those questions will be aired... But in a "non liberal democracy" asking those questions send you right away in front of a court for defamation. We should "trust" our leaders, we should have "faith" on theirs characters. They are never lie, they speak only the truth and they are so honest. Above all we should never ask any disturbing questions and be grateful.

Paul,

Yes. He is no visionary more like a copy cat. A good FAT copy cat. Leader like him is a big joke and is really mocking all citizens. We are like idiots with no brain of our own, everything he said is the law and he loves to claim representation of the people with his PAP superiority. I say this supremacy will not be long. Singaporeans are sick of his antics and despicable doing to opposition leaders. He is quite close to mugabe less the bloody violence.

Old fart has to ask himself how long more can he live? Why not do something really wonderful and leave with a good name? Leaving a good name all singaporeans will remember him fondly as a humble, forgiving, big heart, genuine leader and wants no benefits gained from his power over the decades. A true hero like deng xiaoping? I guess he doesn't know he is blinded by power all this time and losing it is really unbecoming.

Support: WEAR Black this national day!

I guess he doesn’t know he is blinded by power all this time and losing it is really unbecoming.

Rudolf Hess in 1934:

"Someone may say that it is not good to put all power in one hand, since Adolf Hitler might use his authority arbitrarily and thoughtlessly!

To that I can only say: The conscience of a moral personality is a far greater protection against the misuse of an office than is the supervision of parliament or the separation of powers. I know no one who has a stronger conscience, or is more true to his people, than Adolf Hitler.

Over the years I have seem him struggle to make difficult decisions, always checking again and again with the experts in the field until he was certain that his decision was absolutely correct. I know how many sleepless nights his decision to take Germany out of the League of Nations cost him, how he listened to all who had objections. I know that he was unable to rest until he had refuted them by clear logic. Only then did he decide, and accepted the full responsibility.

The Führer's highest court is his conscience and his responsibility to his people and to history.

He will also from time to time allow the people itself to pass judgment on his general policy. This will regularly reaffirm his leadership.

He knows that both his honor and his work are at risk. He cannot pass the responsibility for his decisions to irresponsible parliamentary majorities, as do the statesmen of all other nations. That also means that his freedom of action is not restricted or watered down by parliamentary bodies or other forces. This above all is why in desperate times people and nations need an absolute leader — assuming he possesses the necessary abilities — and why such a leader can be necessary to the continued existence of the government and people."

Keyvn,

"but I do think that we have them to owe to for today’s success."

This statement would be valid 20 years ago when the old guard ministers put nation before self. Singaporeans could see it clearly and gave them resounding support.

Times have changed but the people in charge have changed even more, that Singaporeans can't reconcile with them anymore. Have you ever wondered why all the old guard ministers had stepped down long ago and yet, there is this self installed minister who still holds court in Singapore?

Singaporeans are made to believe that we have the best talent in office and that mulit-million pays are necessary to induce, attract and retain them to serve. At the same time, we are made to believe that mentoring these top talents is necessary too. Isn't this laughable when hired CEO grade officers still need to be mentored? Only blind faith can't separate this illogical and despicable manipulation of power retention.

Lets not take away credit where credit is due. It was through common sacrifices and collective efforts of Singaporeans (including you) that take us to where we are today, not PAP's policies alone.

If LKY cannot produce a legitimate copy of the IBA letter that he proclaimed in his trial against CSJ, it will prove that he is a great liar who will stoop to any methods to win. This is probably a deceptive ploy of him citing conspiracy.

A robber spotted by the police crying "Robbery!".

Found in The New Paper

Gimme, gimme, gimme a baby after midnight
VIVA Mamma Mia!
By Sylvia Toh Paik Choo
13 July 2008
VIVA Mamma Mia!

"To Minister Mentor Lee's inclination towards Sweden's mode of mothering, I repeat, viva mamma mia!

When then-Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew initiated the idea of the Social Development Unit (SDU) all those decades ago, many eyeballs rolled skywards, and there were knowing sniggers aplenty - 'Single Desperate Ugly' (in the category for fastest acronym-ed joke, Singapore lifts the gold medal).

At source, I thought SDU was a brilliant move, projecting matchmaking into the 21st century long before its time, but did not give that thought voice, in case people called me a patsy (less nice-sounding than a sylvia).

MM Lee is an extraordinary leader among leaders, especially when it comes to being visionary. His speeches are never not read, his interviews never not watched, his opinions never not followed"
