The crawling traffic will discourage them from travelling more frequently in and out. More will choose to rent a place here to mimise the hassle.

Less consumption of fuel. There is no ERP gantry but there is a fee to pay when going through the Immigration and can be tweaked if necessary. The same over at the Malaysia Immigration checkpoint.

2) JIAM_TOND_DAU on July 25th, 2008 2.10 pm

Got it. Especially one for coming into Sing in the early morning jam and one for going back to Mal during the evening time. Propose it to LTA and see what special answer they will give this time.

I almost forgot that ERPs are good for controlling traffic. Well, more people will start to create friction as humans start to get rubbed against one another. What reduces friction, plenty of grease lah. LTA must think of ways to provide tonnes of it lah.

I just wish them very good luck as in times to come, more friction will come out for them to grease. Unfortunately, they do not know how to use grease but only trained to use ERPs lah.

When there is Traffic Congestion, they erect ERP gantries, saying it shall reduce traffic congestion.

Why No ERP for Causeway?

Why 2 forms of standardisation?
