Thats awesome!!!!!!! good for you!! !@#$%^&*
Increased to S$185 billion….. sure or not?
Hope that figures didn’t came about in sort of creative accounting way.
Why does the government keep trumpeting how well OUR investments are doing at their hands, while squeezing us for MORE contributions to the coffers?
Something doesn’t add up. Either it’s hot air (read creative accounting) or they are greedy.
It is very sad knowing that the nation have enough wealth to do something for the poor and homeless/disadvantaged and yet receive nothing at all. Afterall, the wealth belong to Sinkaporean and it is customary to save for rainy day. When a person fall on hard time – that is rainy day by any definition known to any civilised society. But obviously uniquely Sinkapore have a different definition. I suppose one has to die homeless and pennyless before one qualify? How much more must Sinkaporean endure before better day finally come? Sinkaporean is not asking for a free lunch but just a gentle helping hand for those truly in needs. It is a human right and common human dignity to have a roof over one head and 3 simple meals a day. If a society could not provide that for its aged citizens then one had to ask some serious question. What is the role of our elected government? When do they consider, a citizen is worthy of any assistence and under what circumstance (s) that one qualify? Are ministers elected or dominated to serve or are they put there to help themselves to the nation wealth?
