Imagine you’re handicapped. Do you think you’ll need more money than a healthy person?

It’s strange but ugly fact of life. The healthy get more than the needy. The rich gets more than the poor.

The true blue Singaporean gets less than a new convert.

A gold medal gets a much smaller column on the newspapers than a silver medal.

I don’t think you are being sarcastic or scornful but it does sound like it. Maybe you should put it this way.

“What’s amazing about all this?” you may ask.

She is just a 16-year-old girl, who studies at Bendemeer secondary. She suffers from muscular dystrophy, which affects her muscle movement.

Now this sounds more like a clarification of the amazing feat she did.
