Nice to see someone documenting this.
Still, what’s with the dude in the Santa cap? I’m guessing he wore it cuz of the national colours, but still…
sad
It is sad that a true man who has given his whole life fighting for freedom has finally fallen. Let’s pay tribute to a brilliant who never stopped for fighting for what he truly believed in. May he rest in Peace.
Nan
anyone has a full picture with good resolution of the picture of Mr JBJ that is display at the memorial? wish to keep a photo of him with good resolution for big print. I have we can have a memorial for him every year, let’s not forget a great man who has sacrifice his life fighting for justice for the poor, a great man, a man of God chosen one.
Hope To See
Just hope that TOC will reserve a column in the website that is all about Mr JBJ permantly so that anyone who miss him can visit the website anytime. Or someone who wants to know about him can read more about him. It may also be good for parents who want to tell their children about our hero, Mr JBJ to visit the website.

You could have lived a life of material wealth like your faithless foes but instead chose righteousness and poverty. And now that you are in the kingdom of God, you are richer than all those poor souls who tormented you.
Hope To See
Yes, JBJ must now be in the kingdom of god. Maybe, he is the god of justice. Life is about cause and effect. Those who have done good deeds will be taken care by god, be it before or after death. Those who have done evil deeds will be punished by god, be it before or after death.
The world has lost a hero last week in Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam, although most of his countrymen don’t realize this yet. A man of great courage and conviction, I could only hope to live even a fraction of my life the way he did. He embodies the good and faithful servant who finished strong in faith and service, fearing only God and serving his country selflessly. The world desperatley needs more people like him.

I am sure all of you heard the loud LION Dance festivity in the background.
SAD.
