The Age Of Greed
In Quotes • 262 views • 6 Comments
In our parliamentary sessions, the only one who seemed to care about the poor is Lily Neo- who has to shout just to get the rest of her compatriots to hear her out. Contrast their disinterest with that of their passionate arguments for more ministerial fair hikes.

a word of caution . . . pap wayang 1st class. it knows it has to give publicity to some of its female politicians – if not, pm might be deemed gay and pap a gay club since its members get orgasmic elation looking at cpf statements.

I do not doubt the sincerity of MP Lily Neo for her cares and concerns for poor Singaporeans.
If there were wayangs, MP Lily Neo was a spectator and I believe she was greatly disappointed with the acts.
However, the Main Topic here is Greed. And talking about greed, we think of family, educational and social upbringings. When greed is rampant and starts to manifest itself most with the Top Echelons, then the question must be what kind of upbringings are we imbued with? What is the prospect of our future?
How do the greedy powerful people prey on their countrymen? The most common method is to make the countrymen slaves, paying little and taking them back through all kinds of schemes but harvest everything from their(slaves) labours and keep all the profits.
In order to enslave others, one has to be vicious and powerful and power can be obtained by making others weak and docile. How do the powerfuls weaken the people? Well, make them poor, make them irascible and divided, come up with schemes that are contentious to sow discords amongst the commoners. AND THIS IS THE KIND OF SOCIETY WE SINGAPOREANS ARE CITIZENS TO NOW.
How fortunate that we are not starving, we have our ‘owned’ roof, we have ‘talented’ leaders, we have lots of frozen and preserved foodstuff(fresh ones are too expensive and have to be imported) and we have plentiful of useful(working) time. We can all afford our medical, education, transport and utilities expenses even though when one is into the late seventies working, how lucky that at this age, one can find employment.
And please do not say we, the people, got screwed by talented people. The
talented elites are kind to give Singaporeans a purposeful life to keep us occupied with work, works and workssssssssss!

There’s nothing wrong with greed if it’s backed with integrity.
What’s wrong with a company wanting to make money? It’s only wrong if it doesn’t provide value back to the society.
The reasons you guys think greed is wrong is because you don’t see any value generated by the greedy person.

Singapore – a company?

It is true, only Dr Lily Neo cares for the poor, the others, not worth mentioning here.
