Was there for about an hour, disappointing to note that whilst I was there, did’t get to see any prominent politicians(of all parties) around.

The consolation was(is) that the crowd was made mainly of youths, they were solemn and sincerely in paying their respects.

    Is it 200 or 1,000?

    Dear JBJ
I drown myself in sorrow upon learning of your death. You have suffered so much for championing the people’s causes, but in death history will forever remember you as the true hero of Singapore. Unlike you I am a true coward having chosen to emmigrate after so many disappointing election results. It seems that the people of Singapore are simply mindless about the atrocious Ministers’ salaries, the GST increases, the ever increasing MRT and bus fares, electricity and water bills, countless ERP gantries, the dictatorial ISA laws, the drastic rise in food prices, the introduction of means testing for eligibility of health benefits, etc.

I could not sleep well for the past week due to the passing of Sir JBJ. I hope his son will continue his work.
