What else can we say about THE man – Mr Tan Kin Lian?
It is all encapsulated in Choo Zheng Xi’s quote.

What Mr Tan Kin Lian is doing is not only just helping those who have directly lost their money in the toxic products. He is also indirectly helping the S&C paying residents of Pasir Ris-Punggol and Holland-Bukit Panjang ask where has their money been lost to.

This is something which their elected MPs should be doing right now but unfortunately they do not even dare raise up the issue in Parliament.

Everyone must ask themselves, have you stood up for the investors like Mr Tan did?

That is all we need to ask ourselves.

Tan directly represented a portion of the People (10000 of them). Tan indirectly represented the whole country – in future, people still will invest. If from this fiasco FI as a whole or even the regulators , if applicable, can learn something from this and improve the systems, would the People not benefit from it?

Btw, Mr Chua, are you there? Hellloooo? anybody home??? Could you substantiate your allegations? YES / No. Please, don’t tell us its more complicated than that.

“Only in troubled times, hero will stand up and help those in need.”
anoymous

“a hero in troubled times, a merciless tyrant in peaceful times.” a Wise man (from romance of 3 kingdoms) quoted on Cao Cao

Whether Tan K.L is ‘Liu Bei’ or ‘Cao Cao’, we have to see what he becomes aft acquiring more power.
Currently, i tink the 1st quote describe well of Tan K.L :-)

I find it sad that when people are in need and someone lends a helping hand, that others chose to see it as any less altrustic motive with a hidden agenda.

what is going on in our world?

Ya we should all aspire to be like him.

If more Singaporeans could deny their self and care for others we will have a better country to live in.

vote Tan KL into parliament, then he can represent the people in various issues. The current MPs in the troubled TC look like they are dumb or deaf, can’t fight for the people in their constituency, no point vote them again, they just collect monthly pay of $13500, useless rubbish.

Take a look of Goh Meng Seng’s blog.
He is initiating a petition asking Tan KL to consider running for the next presidency.

Anonymous (#9),

This is such a bad time to start a petition. It is not that I don’t support such a petition, but Chua Sheng Yang recently insinuated that Tan Kin Lian has ulterior motive in aiding the victimised investors. It would be better to wait till Chua’s letter has been blown over. Goh Meng Seng really has a bad sense of timing.

For me, I think Mr Tan Kin Lian just put his knowledge on this subject into good use. And he has replied somewhere in this site that he has no ulterior motive.

I agree that Mr Tan is a role model for retirees especially the highly educated and those who once held high positions.

Retirees should not only play golf and sing song but also give back to the society and community from whom they benefitted from. Cut waste and be more productive.

Mr “The A Team”,

U said,” I agree that Mr Tan is a role model for retirees”.

T hat is surely an understatement.

Mr Tan is not only a role model for retirees…. He is a ROLE MODEL FOR ALL SINGAOREANS…. especially for the million dollar ministers and great leaders…..
