And I hope you realise that you have proved, “Some investors are privy to more info than others”.

You have been told yr TC mini-bonds have retained half of their value.

Other investors are still waiting for someone, anyone, to tell them how much their investments are worth. But you knew.

Mr Magad makes a wonderful financial trader. If you are his client and
you got a position against you, do not panic and cut loss cause in the
not too distant future, hopefully, the value of your trade will appreciate and
maybe can make you a profit.
I bet the govt , GIC and Temasek Holdings are full of them cause they have
been so cool even though multi billions $ have been wiped out from their
portfolios. They deserve all their top dollars

This is incredible! How did they end up with this so called chairman being as ignorant as that to make such a senseless comment and yet being given the authority to hold on to hundreds of million$ of the payers’ money. Guess he would also believe you if you were to tell him that one day the sun will come up from the west and the clock would turn backwards and that he will find himself crawling like a baby! The best thing to do is to go one step further back on the clock and have a condom to catch the sperm to prevent the production of such waste.

how will the value of the minibonds revive? Lehman brothers come out from the ashes? if the government decides that there is indeed mis-selling and that banks pay back, its not revival. the bonds are dead and dusted, get this straight. Its only whether will the bonds be buried or investors will get back their coffin money. THE BODY IS DEAD, AKA CANNOT BE REVIVED.

with idiots like this as heads, no wonder they lose money.

GIC invested 6.8B on citi.

GIC invested in UBS more than 11B

Temasek invested in Merril Lynch but this bank is bought over cheaply by BoA, got chance to get out during ML share issues without much loss yet stupid Temasek continue with it now they will regret it, BOA / ML shares trading very low.

Now Standard Chartered major shareholder Temasek might buy more shares so as not to dilute its 18.8% stake since SC is issuing more shares and allowing the bank to push its tier 1 ratio capital to 8%.

So much tax payer ‘s monies in banks which is going thru financial crisis. I think they should be more aware and stop pumping money into them.

This rot in financial prudence and leadership in GIC and Temasek is alarming!

The only way to get back the money is to apply govt pressure on the banks who sold this minibonds,but this will open up a can of worms, cause the other ppl will also demand the same. So, there’s no way to get back the $. How can a MP can’t even think logically,is this the best talent PAP says that they can find?
