For millions we had paid to our ministers and still continue paying, what we get are tones of excuses for their mistakes and incompetents. For this alone, they are not even fit to be in the category of ELITE, unless this word ELITE is define by the measurement of obscene wealth.

Speaking of which, this morning TODAY paper report on Ex-DPM (Goh Keng Swee) wife announcement to help the needy, seem to be giving a slap to all the current ministers’ face for their selfishness.

It is by definition of PAP, Singapore don’t have enough talents. So many times in our local “SHITTY TIMES”, we had read that a lot of capable Singaporean with high qualification had chosen to stay and work overseas.

I think LHL basically slapped his own face when he said that we have not enough talents to put in two baskets. This simply reflects his party INCOMPETENT to attract them back. Try take away Internal Security Act (ISA) for start, PAP will see how many talents will flop back to make their life miserable.

Please allow me to express why I think after several decades we get only TKL to step forward.

And my thinking is:

Those who qualify have signed up to be members of ...... .

I saw the picture of their last Mass Gathering when they elect from within.
So many of them.

So, its not that there is a shortage of qualified ones. That is all i wanna say.

the argument can be the country or the family come first! No home
How to have family, no family how to have country. The success story of PAP start by having every single family a home, where people get the sense of belonging.

Then we talk about building the country. By making the income gaps bigger is simply destroying this delicate bonding our forefather had worked so hard to build! For this reason, I don't have to be wise to see that PAP is going on reverse gear. What moving forward they are talking about?

yes, smallvice. If individual don't believe in themselves, how to form the community in the first place? That is the problem with Singaporean, only when knife is at the throat, the survival instinct coming into place.

the point I want to say here is to believe in the power of each individual - RED-man (#7)

It is not power of the individual, but individuals coming together to form a community. Community empowerment holds the future for social, economical and political development in Singapore.

To certain extends I do agree that PAP do have resources and people on their side to make changes as compared to the alternative parties. However, this prompt us to think what they had been doing with this resources all these years? If change is what they say, to the better or to the worst ( answer can be more direct looking on the fact there are dozens of blog that does not agree they change for the better). For themselves maybe.

Let's talk about change and who has the ability to make changes. The answer is simple, each and every single of us in certain way contribute to some improvement to our life. Real question is, how long can these changes last?! If you ask me. The existance of NTU has thought us that people do make a different to their country if majority of us is thinking of going towards the same direction. For those that do not know, NTU was built and made possible by early ancestors who came to Singapore bare hands from China mostly! Wealthy people contribute funds, the poor giving support and social work.

Back to present, I am asking all Singaporean here. Are we being made incompetent now that we simply forget that we possess the ability all along? Ask not what the country can do for you but want we can do to change it back to the Singapore we once familiar with.

Agreed. Statistics play is very common around here, from employment rates to growth rates... heck, they're functioning just like a listed company.

I just like to offer free of charge my super gilat gilat suggestion to help solve ;) :

1. UnEmployment rate : as the effect of the Financial meltdown is felt by more companies, more retrenchment is happening.

On paper, unemployment rate may be reduced, if not eradicated,
by encouraging all Jobless to register a sole proprietorship as employer. Even if not a cent is earned, also you are an employer. Self-Employed.

Or

Study full time to upgrade yourselve and hope for a job later on.

So, this is the way I know of to show the Unemployment rate lower in a real way and not lying.

Now, what is needed is TV shows, commercials and feel-good documentaries to do the encouraging. Feel good here means only success stories.

Get my point? ;)

regards
fine prints and more than meets the eyes and u no believe me?
