Minority PM – Yes, it’s possible

In Quotes • 193 views • 11 Comments

We have a system of scouring the whole country for good leaders and we know more or less who are the leaders of each community. So we don’t quite see one coming, but it is an open system and it is possible one day to have an outstanding person to become the Prime Minister of Singapore, whatever his race is.

Cut the bird talk. It will be made possible only by the electorate, not by the PAP led govt which has a history of smokescreen meritocracy. Enough of your droppings, PAPsters.

Woody,
why you keep repeating the same thing over and over again ? Why aren’t you solving the Minibomb issue ? I thought you are the chairman of MAS ? You means MM’statement already set the verdict to official move on the Minibomb saga ? How convenient ! Look like the final verdict is to have Singapore investors destined to blame themselves for CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Please stop giving us false hope… We be living in your make-believe world for far too long. Give us something that is new to our ears. Are you running out of your ideas ? Maybe next time you can sing us some song just for a change instead repeat the same statements.

And that outstanding person will not come from within the ranks of the PAP as long as the Lee dynasty has a string of heirs to ascend the throne.

Yes, a system that will do us all in again and again, stop dreaming as everyone citizens are now aware of all the PAPees dirty doings, the more you bla bla this time, the more vote you are going to lose. The older people of singapore may be still living in the dark but not the younger lions, they are and will be our new leaders replacing all you obsolete ones, they will be our assets chosen and represented by the people. The entire present elite party members are nothing other than liabilities to the people, can’t imagine so many suffering singaporeans are forced to feed all these good-for-nothing papees coffers till you go to your graves! Are you NUTS?

Ministers’ salary are scheduled to be increased anytime now!

We should start a petition nationwide and get all the citizens to protest against the scheduled increament of ministers’ salaries before they start taking effect and still pay themselves even higher $$$ during this bad recession period. In fact, they have to take at least a 50% pay cut from their present obscene pay scale to show that they care for the people or CARE FOR THEIR OWN POCKET!

actually, all they are trying to mean is a PAP-endorsed one, no need to even deal with the idea of minority. A PAP endorsed one is a rarified minority, race “not relevant.”

what I also mean is that all this Obama-generated aspirations are, in the local context, very untimely and irrelevant without even a free democracy available.

Why are you so agitated my friend. Do you think they will do it in contradiction to the usual sense of everyone on the economic front now.

If they do increase, I will want to see their how their fire-fighting force here will twist through their logic again. I do find it very entertaining listening and learning from them. In the absence of regular circus shows here in our country, they do come in handy as a valuable substitute.

yup – and we are looking and dealing with the smoke-screen rather than the fire.

SM Goh’s speech sounds like a preparation for an early GE.

Any idea when the new National Budget will be announced?

If the PAP were to tie the new National Budget to an early GE, it will be a tactic against the alternative partieis as they don’t have the experience or resource to plan an alternative National Budget.

I hope Low TK from WP can do something. He was after all the Chairman of the Supply Committee for a brief period.
