We all know the big talk from these ministers who proclaimed unabashedly that that they are the wisest people around who, when duly paid their dues, would be able to find us the solutions to ride us out of any storm. But when trouble knocks, they made u-turns to proclaim things like they do not always have the answers, that they are not always supreme and cannot be A-plus all the time.

You asked how we should review them and I suggested we used their own words to measure if they meet up to expectations, the expectations they have presented to the people themselves, in case you miss this suggestion.

The quotes were the articulations of the ministers who, after proclaiming their wisdom from the mountain top, now either tells us that they have been lying or have simply gone into hiding like Vivian who proclaimed that there are no secrets in Singapore (read: TC’s & Minibombs).

Thing is, this PAP govt have been telling us they are the wisest, not only in Singapore, but the whole wide world. So you see, if they did not foresee this type of thing, then the whole world is excused for not being able to foresee this type of thing.
