How can Datuk Subramaniam implicitly suggest that the Singapore Government directly intervene with retrenchment decision? It is not possible for the Malaysia Government to do the same in Malaysia too.
i so touched by malaysian leader for the concerns and efforts made for malaysians working in spore. this kind of leader worth it for them.
I infer he means that companies may prefer to keep malaysians instead. It is not very possible to have direct intervention on retrenchment decisions.
At least they are starting to take a closer look at minimum wage for their country. I would give it a thumb up for that.
