' if really want change, perhaps opp should join force and not outdoing each other….'
............................................................

Ideally, there should be only one opposition party led by a strong leader. As it is not possible at the present moment, we should limit it to just three active opposition parties with three different characteristics: HOT under Chee S J, COLD under Low T K & MEDIUM under Chiam S T including the alliance parties. Any more new parties will further weaken the already weak oppostion and will not be good for their solidarity.

Great job Salim! The Worker's Party is not dynamic enough for you anyway, I'm sure your energy will be put to much better effect in another party.

And to the WP: Too bad for you for losing this fine example of Malay youth.

The Worker's Party has consistently handled various issues with maturity and integrity. They are fast becoming a party that is credible and an alternative to the current ruling party. The handling of Chia Ti Lik and Goh Meng Seng's resignation is commendable. Mr Salim's departure will likely damage him more than WP.

The opposition parties whether it is WP, NSP or SDP or whatever are already quite weak in terms of quality and quantity. Add or minus 1 or 2 or a few more will not really make much difference.

In Singapore political system, either you be big and strong or better don't exist. Because if you exist it makes no difference.

For 40 over years, if cannot make it, unlikely you can in the next 5 or 10 years.

It's like a chess game. A chess master can tell whether you already lost after just observing your initial first few moves.

30/3/09

Everyone is despensable not only in politics,in goverment and work place. He should at least made an effort to stay and sell his ideals to his fellow members in WP which is a more credible party than the rest and should he join any one of the other opposition parties, his political future is dim as these are not credible parties and this is my honest and frank opinon (not equal at least than the PAP)
