Communist China does tolerate protests. As long as the protests are within the OB markers, they will be tolerated. Tibet and Taiwan are 2 most well-known Chinese OB markers. The Chinese Authority didn&#039;t clamp down on the parents&#039; protest over the Melamine Milk incident. The Chinese Authority didn&#039;t clamp down protestors at the Japanese Embassy when the Japanese PM visited the Yasukuni War Memorial Shrine.</description>
