I have been a PR for so liong and sometimes I find that locals think of us as rich. If u locals have read the report on the purchase of apartment, it is the Indonesian and Malaysian the majority of the buyers.

in melbourne, not so many people like singaporean. They thnk singaporean are just…. Materialistic and think they are the best. Singaporean economy is good cuz lots of investors, used to be the harbour, etc. But,… It is a small country, more like a city to me. I cant stand their accent. Haha… Sure they are hardworking people. But, oh well, life is about quality. And i think only few of them know this. Sure their economy is not that bad, and singaporean are proud to say indonesian rupiah is weak. But, hey, who buys the apartment in singapore? Who are the clients in the banking industry? And how about the welfare in singapore? I see lots of old people are employed as taxi drivers, cleaners, etc. Why cant the children support them? I think singaporean should look at other ‘better’ country. Dubai doesnt tax their citizen, gv house, etc. Australia has a good health care system and support citizens during unemployment. US support someone max to 10 years during unemployment. Dont just look down to countries like indonesia. Even indonesia has high corruption level but the government has improved their system. And frankly speak, those who corrupts the money, most of them keep the money overseas. One of the destination is singapore. So, singaporean who insult indonesian by saying their system is corruption-free and indonesian are corrupt, should really think twice before pass their judgement. There is always a grey area in life.

wersingaporean, I’ve a local friend who recently had a visit to Melbourne and while hangin out in a cafe, a bunch of the locals passed by and shouted at her “Go back to your country !”

so, put that context in your view on that lowly behaved teacher.

and be that person with a TINY BIT of compassion.

WeRsingaporeans represent a minority faction in Singapore. Honestly, most Singaporeans don’t give a hoot about David Widjaja’s plight while some others believe the Professor had a hand in David’s demise. Singaporeans do not share a uniform view on this criminal case.

@wersingaporean: Just want to ask.. Now after those judges, coroners and investigators, reported that CKL’s testimony was not consistent with witnessess, perhaps you can shed some light for us regarding David commit suicide, and CKL was not lying, and all scenes and witnesses are liar. Hmmm?

hi huup! i think the main character in the spotlight here is the deceased who stabbed the lecturer and not the poor lecturer himself. the whole picture speaks for itself, the professor is the victim of an act from aggressor. i think you indonesians should try to address more on main issues that leads to this gruesome act rather than blaming the spf or ntu or bla bla bla for coming up with an autopsy report for a month which doesnt do any good to your claims of the whole truth.simply said if you dont like it here, dont have too high hopes of urself cos u always have a choice to get out of here anytime you want to…i noe this line kindda sux and now that you have more things to pity on ur good self.

pity on us who are studying in singapore.my housemate is being tease at her school by her own teacher,her teacher said to her “dont stab me ok dont stab me”
do u know that its very rude to say such thing like that?the result is not even out yet,n u are judging that David stab his own professor?if yes David stab his own professor,why till today the professor hsnt show up yet?why whenever the family ask for further information regarding his son death,government always delayed it?please dont be so unfair towards foreigners,u dont know that because of ur selfishness u had cause us being teased by singaporean.

If you wanna take it to the centre stage, you guys jolly well have f*^%ing concrete evidence to support the mishandling of this case against the CORRUPTION-FREE govt of Singapore. Well if you guys are out there juz to make money out of this,dont even think about the chance winning more sing dollars and turning them to your worthless ruppiahs and make more millions out of it cos you neva will! ITS ABSURD!Its totally ridiculous. You dont blame SPF n NTU juz bcos YOU think they mishandled the whole issue and THROW THE BALL BACK TO OUR COURT and create a whole tirade out of yourself! This is a case of clear cut suicide commited by the deceased himself . These indonesians are juz trying to make something out of this and i truely think its absolutely absurd to come out with a thorough autopsy report from a crime scene in 48hours. Not even a stupid crime show like CSI can do dat maan!! Sorry William…we are not some third class countries dealing with cases like this. The reports seems confusing to you and your team of doctors because the fact that you guys are clueless on wat is wat….

It is very pity to Indonesian family who has high hope with the children future but ended in the campus criminal. Be careful, and think twice if you decide to send your children to Singapore to pursue university education, though, the academic curriculum is high standard but the people may not have the broad minded mentality
