Oh my, when I watched the part on Thio Su Mien, I am appalled….has she gone nuts or what? So thick-skinned and not at all displaying Asian values at all!!! Esp when she’s championing about Asian values and all that….where’s her humility???

  2. I could not help but notice, from the Razortv video you put up on your Youtube site, “Press conference after stepping down – 2″

with a little run up and at around 4.25 there is some heckling going on btw ST reporter Sarah and another reporter? Is it possible to ascertain that identity of that other reporter? Are the MSM fighting among themselves now!?

  3. the whole team is so scary. one who orders mikes to be switched off. one who screams shut up and sit down. one who says it’s inclusiveness to have their husbands lounging in a place meant for abused women. one who have no freaking idea what CEDAW is and still keep hankering for report. alamak. and all mentored by a megalomaniac.

Why did Dr Thio keep reminding people about her credentials? Her professional achievements do not give her any right to impose her holier than thou morals and religion on others. Look at the fiasco she has created.

Dr Thio asked for respect and humility. She herself has not shown any humility, and she has no respect for people who are born to be different from her.

  5. Own Goal 4 May 2009

It was Thio Su Mein’s boasting at the press conference about her being feminist mentor and encouraging Josie Lau and her gang and other female Christian soldiers to “change it [AWARE]” that caused the “Oh, we’ve never met and didn’t know each other from church” pretense to collapse. So Josie Lau and her gang have her to blame for being a self-promoting big mouth. Sally Ang should have shouted at her to “Shut up and sit down!” :) Bunch of anal women. Wonder what their employers (DBS, SAP, Ngee Ann Poly, etc) have in mind for them.

FM Thio’s gestures are so funny! Very cartoonish. The crowd also seems havoc and united. Where are FM Thio’s supporters? All gone home to relax?

  7. Sethie 4 May 2009

Can someone who attended the EGM explain what happened at 4.36 of the video “Aware Extraordinary General Meeting Part 2″? Why did Braema Mathi have to step in to remove the girl from the and assure her that is it is okay? Is it because the security wanted to remove her?

  8. WhereisThiobrain? 6 May 2009

Did Thio Su Mien forgot to bring her brains to Suntec?Or she don’t have any to begin with?So being the first female law dean makes her a what?God?Or Greater than God, God’s servant?Only people like watchman and blind worshippers would think she is greater than God.

The part where the lady said “For the first time in my life, i am suspicious of Christians.”

That sent a chill down my neck. What has this debacle done to the psyche of Singaporeans?

There’s many clips from the US on Bill Maher, and how he has many times talked about religion getting into politics. This is a great montage…

looks like these discussions in the US is now starting in Singapore.
