Let see if we can for once stick to the subject matter for discussion.

Figures, figures, figures… where the hell are proofs?
Are we already seeing a lot Happy Shiney People lately???
Stop dishing out figures on issues you have NOT been able to solve for decades! We want to see REAL action, not stats, figures, and published denials.
This approach is NOT working anymore. And your economic growth is indeed AT ALL COSTS – including loss of voters!
I Can Honestly Say . . .
how about NO wage Singaporeans huh???

the $1.1 billion..is it taken into account the costs for all the “rubbish” activities such as career fairs, peanut angpows, roadshows, training to be a road cleaner etc ? Where’s the breakdown? Who audited the account? Im getting very tired of all this window dressing !
$58 billion will take 5 years for the government to earn back. If they use this money to fund local start ups or welfare funds for the poor low waged workers, then they will win the hearts and votes from the low income people. People who are desperately poor will be cursing the government for fail stakes overseas.
mice is nice
rather than give a nice round & big figure of $1 billion, why not give a more realistic figure how much that translate to an individual? include details like what kind of people are or not qualified to recieve the handout, is the process very combersome?, do the low wage workers know about such schemes?, so on….
also good to know if there are safeguards to prevent abuse, or “mishandling” of the funds.

Hmm…..$1.1b over 3 years to help Singaporeans…
How many billions poured to “help” overseas companies…???
