Just goes to show that we are still operating in 1970s security ISA law here.

  2. Privacy, in the Singapore definition, refers to those declared elites with political power – and no one else…

this section of film act cannot be right. why shld it be applied selectively and particularly targetted at political films? at the very least, it shld be stated clearly in the film act that only films with political contents are affected…

of course, if the amendment is applied, it opens up another pandora’s box.

This is a private event, can the victim sue the intruder ?

  8. This is petty compared to what else they are getting away without as much as a groan from the people. Billion down the drains and we are happy to shake their hands

waiting, waiting & waiting. everyone is waiting for someone else to do something but that someone is also waiting. wwaiting is what the whole nation is doing. waiting to see who gets whacked for not waiting and doing something, waiting for the old man to go. waiting to see if the rumour of cancer is true. waiting to see if the second wife will step in to ensure her own son’s future position in the dynasty is not robbed in the interim .

Well done Seelan, cool n calm, and well answered. When the government can’t dig dirt out on people who refuse to obey the dictatorship, they try intimidation and pressure.

    #7 Good question…..

These guys are just scared……PAP knows it’s going to lose….but I wonder how they intend to go…..all at once or bit by bit….

Looks like the choice is still theirs…..either An Iran or A Malaysia…….

And for the “poor salaried employees” who are working without knowing what or where they should stand…..please wake up….and know where to stand …in the near future.

It is going to be a different ball game altogather….very soon. Economics will bring you down. The govt’s pillar..

This is what will happen when people leave and not want to be associated with the govt and the PAP.

I am watching it on You Tube..is this a crime

    hi Raibina Tan,

////many have accepted that they just to Wait for TIME to PASS for the coast to be clear.////

    except for MSK. 8)

that said CSJ is really very ‘square’ loh, he could have booked a function room in a hotel in JB, chartered a bus for all his invites & keep within his budget!! :)

guys, i think the pap is shaking up there…..need to play to the public need for voice ? “open up a little more SMC”, NCMP. Catering to complaints about discrimination policies? Appoint the first Malay general in SAF. Need to catch up with new media? Ease media laws to PAP’s advantage.

THE PAP MUST LOSE AT LEAST ONE GRC IN 2011….ALL ACTS ARE JUST MERE PLOYS AS LONG AS THERE ARE NO EQUAL LEVEL PLAYING FIELD IN POLITICS.

All civic groups have to be detached from PAP. Let it be known that while being PAP-affiliated maybe said to “serve the people” according to supporters, this does not being not being one is not. Singaporeans, use your head and vote criticically.

An exhibition of naivette by those involved.

Youtube was available since 2006, so why didn’t you use this as a distribution channel? Upload your vid, send an email, and watch it go viral. You can even save on the cost to rent the bloody ballroom.

Can’t understand why in this day an age, you still rely on such archaic methods of communication. Dumb arses.

No wonder the oppostion has no chance!

Is it fair to say that the final verdict still comes from a judge?

  20. Aiyoh, what’s all this bickering in aid of? Did anybody video the barging in? Can we see it on YouTube? Thanks.

  21. Well if they never had a screening and the police never raided it, the hits of the youtube wouldn’t have shot up this much either right?

So in this case it seems like a tactical move..
