  1. As the days pass by, MM is becoming more and more of a tragedy. He is on self-destruct mode, and I don’t think anyone around him dares to tell him that.

“The country is harmonious because every one plays their part.”
We need to be part of it. This is a full force, for our protection.

“If we have the police who cannot even keep the terrorist they caught locked up, and have to rely on Malaysia, you know a major part of the s’porean identity is gone.”
It was part of the plan B. When we have this guy, …..there’s a lot of bomb threats, they don’t stop, they want their man to be released. Singapore knew that he will run to our neighbor. Our neighbor has ISA policy for foreign fugitive, so they wanted this responsibility, it should be given to them. No Dispute. Need to calm them down.

    I read the ST yesterday.

Understand Vivien Balakrshnan (a brahmin??) was trying to explain MM Lee’s idea to a bunch of students.

Makes for painful reading – considering our students recite the aspiration (pledge? which is it?) everyday.

All the ministers should back away and ask MM to step down. It is an embarrassment to the Singapore of today.

“Damn, you never thought that this country is having hard time to find the next good PM. Population is small, thus the probability of having good PM is small too.”

Your statement is on a false premise. Look at Finland, Norway, Ireland etc. This countries have roughly the same population size as that of Singapore. They have multiple parties. Many citizens offering their service to their countries as political leaders of parties contesting for elections.

Why they put forward their names to serve their countries and without millions $$$ to be the PM? IMHO, they are not apathetic and there is no fear of politics holding divergent views? Free media and independent judiciary too!!

Hence population size is not the problem. Besides, Singaporeans are as well educated and intelligent as any Europeans, if not better. So the talent pool is not the problem either. The authoritarian political climate of the country is the crux of the problem in SG for citizens to serve as leaders.

To be balanced, can you also post the URL of the video of Viswa Sadasiwan delivering his maiden NMP speech?
