The collective effort to do so for Singaporeans has to be supreme.

The Japanese are far more honourable in the way they contest elections.

The Japs do not have their elections dept under the purview of the incumbent PM, neither do the incumbents sue their political opponents, their judiciary is not compliant to politicians in power, media is reasonably fair in its reporting and coverage, internal security is not a tool that can be used by politicians to gain advantage.

Most important of all, it is the Japanese culture to embrace sense of honour and shame.

The old fart and his PAP stooges would be considered a national disgrace in Japan many times over.

These lines in the lyrics can't help but remind me of SDP:

"For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin’."
