It is a fact that within ASEAN, Singapore leaders are the closest to the Burmese Military Junta. This is also the general view of the international community.
It is a fact the Burmese Military Junta have hijacked the country.
Now ask ourselves what sort of men will it take to earn the trust and friendship of the Burmese Military Junta. ?
Now ask ourselves whether Singapore has also been hijacked ?
Thank you, TOC, for sharing it.
The military junta is still doing more arrests of politicians and activists until now. The recent release of 7000 plus prisoners consisted of less than 250 political prisoners.
Hi All,
Singapore is similar too.
If you criticise the government too much, you’ll be punished.
The difference is Singapore don’t imprison these people, but bankrupt them. A better move as Singapore is not known as a welfare state – feeding prisoners also require money!
If these men are bankrupted, either they go overseas or eke out a living themselves. There is no burden on our smart government at all!
