If it occured in other areas of Singapore, that Minister won’t even need to issue a press release.

It was only because the rich and the influential are unhappy that they been inconvenient, that is why.

The rain is not the “freak”, you getting paid and do nothing other lips service is the “freak”. As a matter of fact, with so many suffering in Singapore, PAP can still be in the office is a freak accident.

Maybe he should explain why it is a freak event, like all events converging to create a freak event. He didn’t obviously just use of words to escape his responsibilities.

I have to first declare that I am neither a pro PAP nor a pro opposition Singaporean.

But I think we should be fair that we should not over plan and enlarge canals to prepare for rare events. I certainly do not think any party will do something to the canal if the freak event did not happen.
