No Relevance at all

Does Islam in China and Road to Haji have any relevance for Singaporeans ?

Why is an irrelevant topic taking up valuable site space ?

Come on, you can do better than this.

To “No Relevance at all”.

In Singapore, people habitually associate ethnic Malays with Islamism, ethnic Indians with Hinduism, and so on. Obviously given the worldwide nature of Islam (and similarly for all of the major religions) such association is not accurate.

We need to reduce such generic association, be it in general societal outlook or policy making. Another example is boxing people into the Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Others racial grouping.

Diversity of Islam

Islam has no relevance to non muslims at large except when they (non muslims) associating Islam with terrorism. In that respect thank you TOC for airing Aljezeera piece at this season of Hajj . A heart worming and joy of Islam in the heart of muslims round the world.

Such is the beauty of Islam & its followers which all believers shd emulate.

Not those that crave for the so-called 72 heavenly virgins and swear death upon the infidels (non-Muslims) by blowing them up.

Salam!

Educating the public on all religions is a responsible act. TOC, you are doing just that.
Thank you for your wisdom in providing space for such social-religious issues.

Please also provide space to highlight the wonders of other religions and religious groups in and around the world.

Thanks for a great effort, again.
