I hope the Singapore government can initiate and sponsor more climate change studies, educational efforts and environmental protection projects.

All I want to say is, anthropogenic global warming is false, CO2 is not a pollutant and reducing your carbon footprint will not affect the climate a single bit.

I urge all you sincere, well-meaning believers of Al Gore's doctrine to do more research for yourselves and rethink what you have been led to believe up till now.

There are better, more fruitful ways to care for the environment. Reducing CO2 emissions is not one of them.

Like I mentioned before, I don't believe in antropogenic global warming.

And what's this 'climate change' you speak of, as if it was some sort of disaster. It is a force of nature. Climate has been changing since time immemorial, since before we humans came to be. There were ice-ages and there were super-hot spells in Earth's history. If you go to the Botanic Gardens, you'll find a little corner for pre-historic plants where you'll learn that temperate plants used to grow here. If you read on the history of dinosaurs, you'll also find that this region used to be a superheated desert.

So, no no no! I do not agree with your proposals. Leave us alone!

Hope to see more electric or hybrid cars in Singapore and solar panels installed in HDB flats in future. More Green buildings built, Green Mark products certification and Clean Water recycling technology used.

Automobiles ,airplanes are the main culprits for carbon emission.I suggest to our Singapore government to take some more practical steps mentioned below to farther reduce carbon emission.
#1. Jack the price of vehicles, with the exception of commercial ones by 300%
so that only the privileged citizens can afford to buy one.Do ordinary citizens need
a car?At the same time spend more for a better public transportation.
#2. Allow only 4-cylinder vehicles instead of 6-cylinder on our streets.
#3. Restrict oversea leisure travels to one trip per person per yr.
  Sounds draconian?yap,you bet it is.

We need a leadership, and policing on global issues. Such organisation cannot be done in a few days. However it van be done now that the is a majority in commitment for the first time.

Global problems like poverty, overfishing oceans, nuclear & insolvent bandid states can be dealt with in the same way. Now the majority of world leaders wants to take responsiblity and pay. This majoriry of leadership is new. After alle it would have been worthwile to act on bandid states some time ago. The differece of a little responsibility now and the cost in a few decades is huge.
