Why must the government act against something that is fictional?

In my opinion, what she is doing will help the eco-imperialists take over control of Singapore's economy.

As much as I admire her guts, I think she's playing into the hands of the government by adopting their anti-Western reactionism. Be mindful that to all intents and purposes, we are also a rich, industrialised country, and we too have a responsibility to the environment. Don't listen to our "leaders" when they openly boast that we have no repsonsibility to reduce carbon emissions whatsoever simply because we are too small. No country is too small to play their part, and no country is too small to escape their responsibility. You cannot blame the West for every single problem that befalls you.

9) DSFSFD on December 19th, 2009 5.43 pm

there is this type of group ECO in singapore meh?

You can find out more about them by visiting <a target="_blank href="http://www.eco-singapore.org" rel="nofollow">their website. They have been around in Singapore since 2003.

ECO-Singapore is youth orientated social enterprise that focuses on the environment. It is also the Secretariat of the Asia Youth Environmental Network (AYEN), which was formed in 2003 together with seven other Asian countries (Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).

ECO Singapore is also a founding member of the ASEM Youth Network for Sustainable Development. ECO Singapore was also recently nominated to be the National Focal Point of South East Asia Youth Environment Network (SEAYEN).

I hate to be a spoiler, but I think, there are much more important topics beside this. TOC should really pay some interest to the gaming community and many of their concerns, as we are also part of the blogosphere community, such as this matter regarding the DDOS attack

Not trying to spoil the flow here, but I really do not know where to talk about this, in gaming forums this topic is ob, so all I can do is post here and hopefully it will get a reading. As for the others, the news is just flowing in from everywhere in the most unexpected places. sorry , but we are desperate. we all really need to know whether the DDOS attack mentioned by TR is real or a fake.

Thanks

Miss Karim should have quoted how the SIN gov view and handle the climate change in the World-class way by using the recent example of how Yacab said that the serious flood in Bukit Timah is nothing but a freak event in every fifty years, and therefore the SIN gov is incapable of handling it because they have no idea how to proceed to design the canal in Singapore without knowing the highest tide and rainfall before hand despite been one of the highest paid minister in the whole universe.

Miss Karim will do the world a favour to educate the world how our world-class gov handle the climate change. Yacob will do us proud !

Yacob said: “It is not possible… to plan for every event. Thursday’s weather… occurs once in 50 years. If we design for the largest rainfall or highest tide, then we are going to have huge canals in Singapore.”

http://geraldgiam.sg/2009/11/pub-knew-canal-was-not-big-enough-but-didnt-act/

We need no Karim in COP15. What we need is Yacob in COP15 !
Let us cheer for Yacob.
Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob ! Yacob !
