Anthropogenic(caused by human activities) global warming/climate change is a lie, a scam. CO2 is essential to life on the planet and it is NOT a pollutant. Reducing your carbon footprint will not alter the climate in any way.

Al Gore and his green minions are laughing all the way to the bank as you engage in this foolish, unscientific fantasy. It's all about control and transfer of funds when you purchase carbon credits, do cap & trade, buy 'green' products etc.

By all means, reduce pollution. But I have a zero tolerance for unscientific garbage masquerading as altruism. It pisses me off when overzealous but misinformed people want to raise awareness to a non-existent problem by doing inane things such as reusing shopping bags, or switching off lights for an hour. Bollocks! The whole global warming fuss is nothing more than a carefully orchestrated political movement.

A few decades ago, there was a global COOLING scaremongering in the mass media. Have we frozen to death yet?

the govt is a hypocrite when it comes to climate change. for decades we had a wasteful HDB upgrading policy where good condition doors, windows, grills, bathroom tiles etc were thrown away, hacked, demolished. there was no incentive for the resident to continue using these items as they pay the same upgrading cost whether these items are replaced or not.

imagine the 30-40 years of wastage of resources and materials all because of the stupid HDB policy. so what crap is he talking now about saving the enviroment? it all a wayang, just talk to show that we are going to something but actually he does not know or pretend not to know what is happening in his own backyard.

LHL will be using onion and chillies to reduce carbon emission since he has successfully prevented the rain from falling using these two cooking ingredients in our first F1 event !!!

You are right Donaldson. Thanks TOC for helping to spread the video.
Youths nowadays are all talking about go-green and save-the-planet.
This video shows the efforts made by Mr Lee to go green by attending the summit.

Keep up the good work.
Your future is bright.

theres a dude behind the door….wahahahaha wassup with that??

Yeah, I felt the same way. If it were the US press interviewing him, I wonder if that jackass will still stand in such a ya-ya manner. The fool should realise he's obviously in the shot and either get out of the way or stand in a respectful manner.

He should be some high level bureaucrat within the Security Branch - hopefully someone here will recognise this douchebag and identity him.

The highest paid political leader on the planet has to show up with his entourage and see if he can actually contribute to our planet.

One thing for sure, nothing worthwhile from him.
He should stay at home and send the old man instead to tell some stories.

It's surprising that some weeks ago and during the ASEAN summit the government was taking a wait and see stance on climate change. Almost an ignorant gesture on their part. But after superpowers like US, CHina and India started to look into this matter and developing cleaner energy, they decided to jump on the band wagon.
All this in matter of weeks.

All along, for years there are associations and groups trumpeting about energy conservation and how they were trying to push the government to invest on alternative energy. Always the follower and never the visionary. That's our government. Countries around the world are harnessing the natural energies of the earth like wind farms, etc. And yet we are still dependent on fuel to feed our power stations. Time for the ministers to wake up and smell the roses before they are all gone.

Let's just hope that this turnaround of attitude is not for economic reasons but reasons to ensure the future of our children's earth.

Singapore is green? How?

1. Look at the amount of plastic bags, utensils etc used at hawker centres, foodcourts etc.
2. Green cars are so god damn expensive.
3. Gas prices all so high, same as petrol.
4. Rubbish of all sorts not sorted for recycling.

What crab is he talking?

Does Lee Hsien Loong really need that many heavies to protect him in an interview with some young environmental activists?

The muscle hiding behind the pillar looks likes he's waiting to pounce on the poor interviewer if she asks any tricky questions.

LHL was a supporter of Bush.

And Bush is against all these environmental stuff.

I think his involvement is a precursor of increase household electrical bills.

He expects S'pore to have the same electrical consumption when the population size increase by 25%.

What a joke!
