i remember the day when i had finished my shopping stint at centrepoint and there he was at the taxi stand hailing his book. I so glad that despite the cold stares from the on going passer-bys i purchased 2 books. He asked me where i was from and what was I doing, I told him that I was packing my bags and heading to Australia. He smiled and said to me ” You are coming back .. arent you?” I smiled at said God Willing!

I cannot express in mere words the amount of respect and admiration I have for this humble man that made watching parliment interesting to watch, that gave a damn about our basic human rights and despite the odds against him, he never lacked in effort and enthusiasm when it came to defending our basic human rights and sadly most singaporeans arent even aware what these rights are.

I hope to return one day to different Singapore .. a Singapore with a VOICE.
