The Online Citizen (TOC) has been online for 3 years but we’ve never had an official logo. So, we asked our fans on Facebook to help us design one – and they did. We thank everyone who took the time to create the following logos.
We now need your vote to decide which one of them will be used as the official TOC logo. Please take some time to consider the entries and let us know your favourite.
Polling closes on Sunday, 17 Jan, midnight. Thank you!

35 choices. The mind is reeling. Why not restrict to three or four ?
Spoiled for choices! if there are 35 parties for me to choose in election. that will be great!
I have to agree with Joseph. TOC really needs to do some shortlisting.
Or something multi-stage polling. e.g after this polling, the top 3-4 will undergo another polling. if not, you might end up with a logo that only 5 pple voted for.
yes, do a short list of maybe 5 with the most votes and have a second round of voting.
Hi lobo76 #3 and interested #4,
It sounds like a good idea. Readers are indeed spoilt for choices, unlike the voters in a typical GRC walkover.
Out of curiosity, how are you preventing (or at least minimizing) the same person from casting multiple votes?
Hi lobo76 #6,
It is done through automated tracking of browser cookies and IP addresses.
I hope my voted logo can pass to the second round >.<
The top 3 logos will be posted on a second-stage poll on Monday.
Can we have a caption with the logo:
“OBJECTIVE REPORT NOT COVERED IN MAIN STREAM MEDIA”.
The best logo won this round, in my opinion!
How can I propose or submit a logo design to T.O.C?
dont forget to create an icon for the bookmark bar, ok :)
