  1. Then come to Singapore, Mrs Clinton! See what passes as “freedom” in this country! While our country gravitates towards China, our internet freedoms come under greater threat every day.

Does USA have a higher moral standing than China on Freedom (of anything)?

    The obvious answer is NO.

No one should go around killing innocent people around the world (without cause or on suspicion or on false pretense) and then claim there should be ‘FREEDOM’. It is simply HYPOCRITICAL.

Goggle’s gambit to play politics in China will result in Failure, because they are a business entity. Their failure to block/prevent hacker is nothing but their own fault (or incompetence). They are not a start-up company and have been around long enough to understand that hacking happens everyday, not that it is right or legal.

Our internet freedom is not under threat. Not yet. Don’t go asking for USA/Clinton help because these people have questionable motives, and are lacking in integrity.

  4. Internet freedom opens the window to many truth on the daily occurrences of the world. A country that curtails such freedom has a lot to hide.

  5. US govt. will always push others to toe their line. Has US ever for once examine their own home-based policy and foreign policy.
The world will have less terrorists and killings and upheavel if US can just sweep their own yard.

  6. Obama talks alot, but when it comes to the doing, nothing usually happens, I dont expect much to happen. As for the chinese, what do you expect from a repressive regime that regularly does despicable things to animals and people?

Which country does not something to hide? Singapore (at least PAP) trying to forget how it used ISA and other under-handed tactics to prevent opposition for having their air-time, media coverage, etc. But question is: Do we invite foreigners to come in to what is essentially Singapore’s business?

Singaporean have to wake up on their own and come to their own conclusion.

    寒天喝冷水,点滴在心头。

PAP’s behaviour is clear for all to see, what with their placing their own kind (the so-called elite) above the needs of the people, do we need the internet to show us what they have done? Or do we still believe in their propaganda using the MSM? The internet is a tool to search for information, even if all the information are there, people will continue to see what they want to see. Those who are still in PAP will attest to that, for given the freedom, they still refuse to see the facts that PAP is serving their own interest above that of the people.

Which country in the world can claim flawless history.

China will open up slowly at a pace they are comfortable with. Not because USA or anyone can dictate. The Chinese government fear its people, that is much better than Singapore’s PAP igrnoring the people altogether, or the USA lying to their people, sending them to unjust war, and committing mass murder around the world.

Singapore do not need USA’s intervention, and neither does China or anyone else.

  9. This Hilary Clinton’s character and speeches seem to amaze many.

During her campaigning, newspapers reported that she was trying to broker a deal with Obama, in regards to the post of President and Vice-President.

But now she is eating “humble pie” ?

So in regards to webcensorship, we should also ask her about the “Lehman Bros scheme”, and the “Visa restrictions”.

Hope no Singaporeans will turn “crusaders” to reclaim their hard-earned savings !

And recently, a US spokesman on national TV said about our “own national interests” !

To consume more “madcows” beef ?
