How often do we think twice when it is FOC? It is our nature.
U think this is discrimination ?
In the US, they have the Exclusion Act 1882.
Yes, it’s a Discrimination Fee.
You pay to have the pleasure of being discriminated by your govt.
What Can U Do ?
Migrate ?
No $$$$$ now ?
Learn some tricks from David Copperfield or whoever, and be a pastor, lah !
Spirits descend spirits go ?
Some Singaporeans are deluded and naive, U know !
Make sure U demand their bank a/c numbers to pay “tithes” by giro, every month !
Some says female are more gullible !
Why would one want to enter a casino?
You are winning when you don’t gamble.
LHL said :”Singaporean come first”. Absolutely, Singaporean want to enter? Pay First!
before Election : LHL said :”Singaporean come first”.
after Election: Singaporeans say here I come but LHL said: What? Who are you huh?
I see it as a good thing for Singaporeans. Why pay to help RWS survive when the bulk of the employees are not Singaporeans. Let’s stay away from this resort and do something else more meaningful and save money too.
sorry. singaporean and dogs are not allowed. :)
the last templar ?

That Act was repealed in 1943. Did you do your homework before posting that?

This $100 tax to deter Singaporeans from gambling is an excuse to collect more money. Just like expensive tax on cigarettes. Being a smoker myself, I say ban Singaporeans from smoking if you really care. As a parent, would you deter your kid from Smoking by selling him cigarettes at a very high price or just disallow him to smoke. Apply the same to the Casinos too.
Whether the person will be losing or winning doesn’t really concern the gahment, I am sure they are old enough and mature to handle a bit of fun.
Talk about caring for the singaporean? then why do we have the singapore pools outlets at almost every corner of our neighbourhood? you see, every mon, thurs we have toto, wed, sat, sunday we have 4D. Almost everyday we have soccer match ongoing…hmmm….Oh, not forgeting Horse racing, scratch and win, and the stock market. BTW, nobody seems to know that we have quite a future /derivative trading market….hohoho Oh more good news, recently gahment has allowed 3 banks to continue to sell structure banking products ( or shld i mentioned lehman…)
Let be frank, $100 to stop a gambler from betting their luck in the casino? who are you kidding with. People can spend few hundreds to travel to malaysia. Or get tickets onto cruise ships to gamble.Who really believe that this minute amount will stop them. It will only stop those families who really wanted to visit our own casinos and maybe have a bit casual fun at the slot machines.
Lastly, for 2 casinos, let say annually we have 1 million entry, then the authority will have collected $100 millions dollar of easy money. Another hidden form of taxation? So, this time round are they going to proclaim that they are going to help the POOR and NEEDY???
or maybe allow the people to choose to makan in KOPITAM, HAWKER CENTRE or restaurant?
More and more sh—i–ts coming out…..
Singapore Pools also fixes the matches as it is the main sponsor for the S-League. I also bet opposite of what the punters bet. Just bet what people are not betting on. In the long run, you’re safe. I’ve experienced this many times in the S-League. Like today’s match, Etoile, the French team drew 2-2 with Sengkang. Sengkang finished last or second last in the league last season. Many people punted on Etoile. I went for a draw and +1 1/2 goals on Sengkang. :)
the singapoor casino is realLEE not meant nor designed for the singapoiums gamblers
the $100 entry fees is to deter superstitious (me included) from enterin the casino
why should i pay/loss a $100 before i even bioed(touched) my 1st card?
it a ^LEGALISED^ front for money launderin
~PERIOD~

Tks pal.
At least I know it is being read.
Can I use your sketch above as my facebook profile picture? I simply love it.
I think if you credit Sei-Ji, it should be fine. Please feel free to drop an email to him directly and clear it with him.
Which serious seasoned global/regional gambler will wanna gamble in choke-dead Stink-a-bore? Very soon with bad business, they will pay you $100 to even consider visiting the casinos. Mark my words, these 2 “tomb stones” are doomed.
