i am not in F&B business myself, i can only give my opinions on what a customer can observe when having a cuppa at the outlet. & from a customer standpoint, Ya-kun does have an efficient workflow, my orders never got mixed up & they are fast (except for the half boiled eggs that require time to get it just right).
businesses like lowest running costs, but they should not take the easy way out which is cutting staffing costs. in a people oriented industry, hiring (& keeping) the right people makes a difference. is there no other way to cut costs?
btw, i prefer Ya-Kun to Toast Box too, but i wish there are more Killiney Kopitaims around. jia you (Killiney), jia you!! ^.^
