  1. Was there a dissimilarity in Teo Ho Ping’s protest, at the same spot where Dr Chee held his peaceful protest? In terms of number of participants, I see Teo Ho Ping has brought in more people as compared to the one held by Dr Chee’s own team. So why was it that Teo Ho Ping was not charged in court while Dr Chee & team have to be jailed for weeks. This is an obvious flaws in our legal systems. Am I not right from the perspsecitve of a sensible person? Unless PAP still regards our populations as retard that can be fooled to think this is fair.

  2. The oldmanli tends to equate security with race but look at all the security post personnel,no wonder she is confused that ballroom is a place to play football?!Or maybe she has become too arrogant knowing that where political case is heard, opposition is easy meat for the chopping board?

Well, we can protest in a hotel ballroom, video it and then transmit it via YouTube. This is the electronic age mah. You lollo argh? Our gahmen very advanced in technology one.

Like that jamban also can protest. Must thank the DPP for helping us think “out of the box” (but still inside the cubicle).

  6. mice is nice 6 December 2010

why pay govt indirectly (by contributing to GDP)? MIW can do so many things for free to extend their reach, why let them hoodwink others into paying what they enjoy for free?

no wonder the rich grow richer….

  7. Uniquely Singapore

Just a question, i remember reading that a video by Martin See was confiscated during a private screening in a ballroom.Correct me if i am wrong but how is a private screening gate crashed by the cops by the DPP says a demostration is allowed. Maybe it is easier to video tape the leaders of a demo in a ballroom then during an actual demo.

  8. Alamak..can learn from the previous IMF-Worldbank protesters…protest in Batam :)

  9. Oh Yeah 7 December 2010

Like IMF-Worldbank protest…will Police provide free plastic placards on which protesters can write slogans????

  10. He must be like “hmmm… I can’t believe I just said that, well at least the media will put a positive spin on it…why must i have this case?? make me look stupid only..for sure someone’s going to draw a cartoon of this statement….give me a mandatory death penalty case… at least that one i sure win…and not have to say anything stupid..because AG will say it for me”

  11. The way in which government employee DPP Norashikin Samdin thought processes could become so convoluted for her to mouth that ‘Singaporeans are free to do a demonstration in a hotel ballroom’ is a reflection that we already have a freak government.

There is no need to fear voting another government in, no matter how untested they are.
