I don’t think anyone need to worry about GY. Capable people like them will more than easily find a high paying job (maybe more than minister) in the private sector
…………….
why would i worry for sirgeorgeyeo when he didn’t lift a finger to brin justice to a singapoorium who die mindin his own(singaporean) buisness after bein slaughtered by a drunk FOREIGNER and let that foreigner go…
sured georgeyeo would be paid more in the private sector..
who is goin to mploy him?
YOU?
go check the few befallen X-ministers liked david lim/yeoch owtong/etc..etc..
check their ira81a(cannot bluff 1) then come back to tell us
ARE THEY GETTIN PAID @ $100,000 per month?
yeoch owtong @ 1 time was a influencial man..he send his undergrad daughter to work with an americanbased money tradin international inc…
today the same american inc would not even mploy yeoch owtong to replace the bankin hall liked a bhaii with a shotgun
Regarding my comment about Viv Bala nomination speech “This election is about our home, our family, our children and our jobs” – I been told that it is “jobs” and not “Gods” that he is saying. It sounded “gods” the first time I heard it. My apologies.
I would see corporate lawyer Mr Chen Show Mao more than qualify for MOFA position. Why worry? I am confident WP will win Aljunied and victoriously. Mercenary at the helm has to go. Renewel, revival, restore to our rightful position as Singaporeans.
PAP grand supporters? well, just a bunch of jobless old auntie and uncles taking for a free ride and wearing FOC white shirts given to them. The true heart of man can’t be so weak and naive as that.
The real hero are usually unsung and unseen. Those are the intelligence voters most likely to support opposition parties and help Singaporeans take back our soverign land.
There is still some votes to win over before the election day.
Lets go all out and talk to strangers and ask them what is the basis for them to continue to vote for them when so many questions have no answers.
When PRs sell their hdb and withdraw all CPF and savings and enjoy early retirement , who is there to pick up the mess of over priced flats?
Is downgrading a disgrace to your standard of living or quality of life ?
Why must we downgrade in order to benefit from the high price?
Why PRs can sell and retire happy?
Why PRs can help jack up the hdb price by buying and selling resale flats?
Why is WP pushing for transparency of HDB land cost, subsidy, construction cost?
Why the 2#$@#$#@ citizens still cannot see the problem?
Go out there and grab win some votes for opposition!
Remember , for every Apathetic, Kia Si, Self-Preservatory, Self-Serving individuals out there, we must get 2 votes for the opposition.
To eliminate FEAR, vote them out.

Saw the various interviews NSP’s Nicole Seah gave. Was very impressed.
Diverted any distracting issue of youth, inexperience to relate to voters directly. Message was very attractive.
At first tot NSP must be dumb to put a 24 year old when the other 27 year old was already a liability. However, after listening to this 24 year old speak, it made the 27 year old seem even more of a liability as Ms Seah showed far more command, confidence and ability to represent. I think she not only made more sense than most of the other opposition candidates contesting with her but more importantly, she connected the listener to the message far more effectively.
I disagree with some of the NSP policies and manifesto. However, haven’t heard anything from her that I would disagree with. Tot the way she handled the question on her “glam” and “attractive looks”, something that she appeared unprepared, was another example of her maturity beyond her years. Class.
Normally anyone who contest in MP GRC is a no hoper. If she can keep it up, it could be a matter of time before she can stake her claim to stand in a SMC as a heavyweight. Clearly if the opposition can attract such candidates of such quality at such youth (who rely solely on their ability to think and articulate effectively), there is hope for the future of Singapore.
Already by standing in this election, it offers hope that opposition candidates like her do not merely oppose for the sake of opposing but clearly understand what they are representing.
One last point. Her fearless nature in a ward that normally commands fear is exactly the kind of politics that the opposition needs to continue cultivating and to break the mental barrier surrounding GRCs. Well done!
Nice strategy on the part of WP. Going for broke will mean that there will be no soft options for the voting citizens. If they vote PAP then there is a risk of zero opposition in parliament, something that many Singaporeans do not want to see. I think this is the first time in a long while that Singaporeans will be voting on the National Agenda instead of estate upgrading and covered walkways. Shrewd strategic move by LTK. Kudos to the WP!!
1. The term “nomination hall” is NOT defined in the PEA, contrary to what is asserted by Uncle Yap in YouTube.
2. s29 PEA basically states that the form must be (i)delivered, (ii)by the person(s) seeking nomination and proposer, seconder and assentors, (iii)between 11AM and 12 Noon.
Thus, the grounds for an Avoidance of Election are possibly
(i)The papers were indeed “delivered” as they had been placed in front of the officer
(ii)”By” the persons does not mean they must stand in front of the counter. (nothing in subsidiary legislation says so and there is not yet any case law)
(iii)The clock was wrong (difficult to prove)
Anyway, all this would be solved if we had an e-Nomination procedure.

yes there must be law by law, but too law by law our citizen will be more inflexible and dumb.
the conscience to accounting to the the voters and next generations for this incident after many years by the electorate officers will be great, on bigger picture, our democracy truly got some big problem, based on nepotism, double standard, monopolies, high incredible pays, accountability…
electorate cant hold their heads high to the people and the citizen also…
