丹戎巴葛集选区议员杨益财,昨日(17日)于脸书上发文指控有人恶意散播网络假消息。 配合父亲节,杨益财昨日上午在白桥巴刹赠送给居民巧克力,祝贺民众父亲节快乐。 然而不久后,社交媒体却流传照片,指杨益财派发给民众在2011年过期的巧克力。照片可见巧克力上还贴上人民行动党徽章,以及杨益财的名字。 巧克力过期的谣言很快网络上散播。本社在得知消息后,也向杨益财询问相关消息,却未得到任何回应。约在昨晚8时左右,杨益财便在个人脸书上宣称,有人恶意散播网络假消息。 “针对我今日(指16日)上午的街访活动,有人恶意透过Whastapp 与其他社交网站散播假消息,说我将赠送给居民的巧克力,在2011年已过期。“ 他称,“透过照片上可显示其过期日期为2020年,其包装也表明保质期限格式为DD/MM/YY’ (如: 09/01/20), 对此我想向帮助购买与赠送巧克力的居民说声感谢。” 换言之,其保质期限的格式应解读为:YY(年份,如20)而非以YYYY(如2011),或许如前所述,20之后的数字仅仅代表生产号码。 然而,如果只是单纯祝贺民众、感念当爸爸的群众们为家庭的付出,为何巧克力包装上,非得要加上人民行动党的徽章与议员名字?其用意为何?是指议员已开始启动竞选行动吗? 杨益财曾是新加坡警察部队 (SPF)的助理警务专员 。他于1995年加入警队,并于2015年8月退休。在他任职期间,他担任过各种重要任命,包括副主任(规划与组织),主任(行政与财务),金文泰警察司司长,副主任(业务)和主任(公共事务)。他还曾在国家预防犯罪委员会和国家警察学员军团委员会任职;另外,他也担任警察体育协会的副主席和POLWEL合作社的副主席。目前担任丹戎巴葛集选区议员 。
