中央公积金局今日(22日)公布今年第三季度(7月1日至9月30日)公积金存款利率。年满55岁或以上会员,首3万元存款最高可享有6巴仙利率,至于接下来的3万元则享有最高5巴仙利率。 此外,上述会员群体首三万元累积存款,可续享额外2巴仙利率(以普通户头的两万元为限);普通户头最高年利率维持在3.5巴仙。特别户头和保健储蓄户头,最高年利率5巴仙。 至于未满55岁者,首六万元累积存款可持续享有额外1巴仙利率(以普通户头两万元为限);普通户头的最高年利率维持在3.5巴仙,特别户头和保健储蓄户头最高年利率,则高达5巴仙。 至于第三季度建屋局房屋贷款年利率,则维持在2.6巴仙。 当局称给予会员额外利率,乃是为了增强会员们的退休存款。
业主和租户之间的纠纷一直以来是我国常见的纠纷课题,尤其在冠状病毒爆发后,更有租户遭业主驱赶等课题出现,为此,公平租约工作委员会向政府提出15项建议,包括负责处理不公租赁行为的委员会。 公平租约工作委员会以政府提供的房地产税回扣事件为例,指出尽管政府多次作出呼吁,但是还是有业主不愿将所得的税务回扣,转让给租户。 因此,该委员会提出了15项建议,包括让新加坡竞争与消费者委员会担任监督机构,为零售租金率设立规范计算方式,以及设立委员会等。 其实我国租赁课题一直存在,而当其中更涉及客工时,情况更糟。 日前,新加坡客工组织情义之家(HOME)的个案管理经理Luke Tan也曾分享到,基于人力部加强了管制措施,有些住在店屋的客工被发现他们的房间过于拥挤后,被迫搬出店屋而露宿街头。 留下的客工也也遭到重击,因为房东还试图调涨租金。
尽管遭到议员和民众等人敦促应直播国会议事,特别是在疫情下让国民能直接、即时地跟进国会讨论的政策。不过,政府对此事似乎兴致缺缺。 更甚的是,傅海燕新闻秘书 Michele Khoo在回应读者评论时,更指出直播恐怕会让国会沦为“表演平台”,国会无意进行现场直播。 新加坡常自诩由第一世界政府管理的第一世界国家。公民理应由知情权,透过直接管道了解国会中讨论的政策、国会表现等。 然而,在国会直播此事项上,新加坡和其他国家相比似乎相形见绌。全球有多达94个国家,包括世界大国:美国、英国、中国、俄罗斯等,乃至东南亚国家如邻国马来西亚、印尼、泰国、菲律宾等,都有进行国会或议院直播! 这些国家或是透过电视、电台广播或是网络直播方式,让民众也能即时地观赏或收听国会议事。 其他有直播国会议事的先进国也包括:瑞士、加拿大、爱尔兰、法国、意大利、南韩、日本、芬兰、匈牙利、奥地利、瑞典、希腊、比利时、冰岛、荷兰、丹麦、卢森堡、西班牙、波兰、保加利亚捷克等等。 事实上,在新加坡通讯及新闻部旗下,仍有一个网络直播频道:https://www.parliamentwebcast.sg/。然而却需要账号和密码才能登入,一般民众是无法登入观赏的。相信这是供政府人员或媒体跟进国会议事使用的专门频道。
本地第4689起冠状病毒患者昨日因冠毒并发症,宣告病逝,为73岁的本地人。 卫生部指出,病患生前有高血压、高脂血和甲状腺机能减退症(hypothyroidism)的病历,基于是因冠毒并发症逝世,所以被纳入冠毒死亡病例中,属本地第23起死亡病例。 依据病患纪录,患者于4月17日确诊,在5月21日逝世,病患家属也获得国家传染病中心联系,确保他们获得所需要的帮助。 在我国自冠毒爆发至今所累积的22起死亡病例中,年龄介于58至97岁的死者,大部分生前都患有慢性疾病。
今年因受冠状病毒19疫情的影响,今年国庆庆典也与以往与众不同,尽管不开放民众到现场欢庆,但仍秉持着与民同心,为每户家庭派发国庆礼包,普天同庆。但也有民众呼吁不需要派发礼包,甚至发起请愿书联署,截至目前已获得逾1万人支持。 该联署由网民Kaushik Ilango带头发起。他解释,尽管主办单位想要借此团结民众,为正处于黑暗时期的新加坡公民带来些许欢乐,但比起将派发礼包,网民更希望将这些资源善用在其他资源上。 “2020年是我国记忆中最黑暗的一年,所有人间接或直接受到了冠病19 的影响。此时此刻,我明白分发新加坡人喜爱的礼包必定能够为此带来欢乐。然而,我相信如果将预估140万个礼包用在支持其他资源会更好。” 网民认为,与其将其用在礼包上,不如将它善用在援助其他人,而且礼包内并非每一项都能够长期使用。以往就有出现不少国庆礼包遭丢弃的案件。 经济不景、失业率上升 他表示,如今在经济不景气的笼罩下,失业率也不断上升,因此将这些资源善用到其他地方,反而能够给真正需要帮助的人更多支持。 网民坦言,他自愿将礼包捐出,同时也不想见到更多礼包被白白丢弃,这反而会动用更多人力去整理。 “新加坡可以趁此机会,树立“零废物”的榜样,展现给全世界。” 他也了解,部分人士对于国庆礼包情有独钟,因此他也不想就此剥夺他们的权利,反而是希望主办单位能够设立一个系统,让不想接受礼包的人能够做出自己的选择。 “如果您不希望收到礼包的,可以签署请愿书,并将之传出去让更多人看见。加油。” 截至目前,已有2万3千886人签署。
