MALAYSIA: A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision along Jalan Raya Barat in Klang on 29 March 2026 after a driver, suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs, crashed into him.

According to New Straits Times, the incident occurred at about 11:40 am local time and involved a motorcycle and two cars.

The victim, a man in his 30s, died at the scene after being thrown onto another vehicle following the impact.

South Klang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Jit Huey said preliminary investigations indicate that a Honda City driven by a man in his 20s was travelling towards Klang town at high speed.

“Upon reaching the scene, the driver is believed to have overtaken several vehicles before entering the opposite lane and colliding with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction,” Lim said.

The collision caused the motorcyclist to be flung onto a Perodua Myvi.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
