HUNAN, CHINA: A disturbing public scene unfolded on Jiefang West Road in Changsha during the early hours of 15 March 2026, when a woman reportedly performed indecent acts with a man on a busy street.
The location is known as one of the city’s most popular nightlife areas, typically crowded with late-night diners and pedestrians.
Videos shared on several Chinese social media platforms showed a woman with short blond hair wearing a black leather-style top and very short trousers walking along the street and behaving erratically.
Footage recorded by bystanders showed the woman drawing attention from passers-by before interacting with a man dressed in black.
The situation escalated when the pair allegedly engaged in explicit behaviour on the pavement in full view of pedestrians.
Crowds gather and film incident
Witness videos suggested the unexpected act quickly drew a large crowd of onlookers.
Rather than intervening, many spectators gathered closely around the pair and began recording the scene using their mobile phones.
Some footage circulating online captured cheers and shouting from the crowd, creating a chaotic atmosphere along the normally busy entertainment street.

Police respond and detain individuals
Police officers later arrived at the scene after receiving reports from members of the public.
According to an official statement released by the Tianxin Branch of the Changsha Public Security Bureau on 16 March, officers were alerted to the incident at approximately 2am.
The report stated that police responded quickly to a call reporting indecent behaviour outside a hotpot restaurant on Jiefang West Road.
Officers separated the crowd and brought the individuals involved under control.
Video footage showed the woman being detained by police, while a plainclothes officer placed a green jacket over her shoulders before escorting her away.
Both individuals were subsequently taken to a police station for further investigation.
Authorities confirm criminal measures
Police later identified the individuals involved as a 36-year-old man surnamed Zhang and a 35-year-old woman surnamed Tang.
Authorities stated that both had travelled to Changsha from other cities.
According to the police statement, the pair allegedly carried out indecent acts in a public place and caused a disturbance that seriously disrupted public order.
As a result, police have imposed criminal compulsory measures against both individuals on suspicion of provoking trouble.
Officials added that the case remains under further investigation.
