A viral video allegedly showing a Causeway Link bus driver using a mobile phone while driving has sparked safety concerns online. The company says it has launched an investigation and apologised for the incident.

A video circulating online has sparked concern after appearing to show a Causeway Link bus driver using a mobile phone while operating a bus.
It is not known when the footage was recorded.
The video shows the driver holding a mobile phone with both hands while the bus is moving along the road.
In the footage, the driver appears to rest both elbows on the steering wheel and type on the device, steering the vehicle slightly using his elbows.
The clip was shared by SG Road Vigilante on Facebook, which alleged that the driver was "non stop playing with his hand phone" while travelling from the Malaysia–Singapore Second Link checkpoint to the Tuas checkpoint in Singapore.
The video quickly attracted attention online, with viewers raising concerns about passenger and road safety.
Company responds
Responding to queries from Mothership, Causeway Link said the matter has been escalated to its operations team for investigation.
"We would like to sincerely apologise for the concern caused regarding this incident, and we truly understand the importance of road safety and public confidence in our services," the company said.
The company added that it takes the matter seriously and is committed to addressing it appropriately.
No further details about the driver or the outcome of the investigation have been released at the time of writing.
