A TikTok user has attracted thousands of views after sharing what she described as an unexpected outcome to a major flight disruption in South Korea.
In a video posted on the platform, the traveller claimed that more than 300 passengers were forced to leave an aircraft after a passenger allegedly refused repeated requests to disembark.
The user did not identify the airline involved.
Passengers reportedly deplaned after onboard disturbance
According to the TikTok user, the passenger was allegedly intoxicated before boarding and became disruptive during the flight preparation process.
Answering to a comment by another TikTok user, the user said, "The guy was already intoxicated before boarding, sat in 54F, and started being loud, making everyone around him very uncomfortable. The flight attendants asked him to leave voluntarily several times, but he refused."
She added that the disruption lasted for more than an hour before passengers were ordered to leave the aircraft.
"Afterwards, the airline ordered all 300+ of us to completely deplane with all our carry-ons as a standard safety protocol to clear the cabin before extracting a hostile passenger."
The user alleged that South Korean authorities later arrived and removed the passenger from the aircraft.
Long night ends at luxury resort
The video showed passengers arriving at the Inspire Entertainment Resort, a large integrated resort in Incheon.
In the video's caption, the creator joked about the unexpected accommodation.
The user said the inconvenience was offset by the hotel stay by stating "Best flight delay of my entire life."
She also claimed to have later checked room rates at the property.
The user was surprised by the reported room prices.
"I just found this. Their cheapest room is deluxe king/queen at 1,000,000 KRW (US$660/C$937)."
Hours of delays before passengers settled
In another response, the TikTok user provided additional details about the timeline of the disruption.
The user described several hours of delays before passengers reached their rooms.
"So scheduled takeoff was 7.00 pm but total chaos broke out inside the plane for an hour because a guy refused to leave the plane."
The user said passengers only reached their hotel rooms in the early morning.
"We got to the hotel around 1.30 am after immigration and got our checked-in luggage, and with 300+ passengers in that hotel lobby, we weren't settled till 3.30 am."
Social media reacts
The video prompted widespread reactions from viewers, many of whom focused on the unexpected hotel stay rather than the disruption itself.
One user joked that they hoped for a similar outcome.

Another highlighted the cost of the accommodation.

Some described the experience as a fortunate outcome.

One commenter joked about a possible connection to the resort.

The airline involved has not been identified, and no official statement regarding the incident was available at the time of reporting.
